The BigHand Mobility Suite allows a user to dictate into a Blackberry, then email the dictation as a compressed and secure voice file to an assistant back at the office for transcription.

Users can also connect to their dictation workflow software in the office regardless of where they are, or the connection type available. So you no longer need to carry a Dictaphone or worry about damaged tapes and recording quality, while the transcribed documents can be turned around much quicker and sent to and from the “dictator” on the move.

Of course, we’re still waiting for voice recognition software to be perfected in order to cut other human beings out of the process altogether.
