ASB Law provided legal advice to TUI on the acquisition. The deal was led by Helen Mead, corporate finance partner and head of travel, supported by Emma Cox and Tara Iqbal
and the employment and property teams.

Mead said, “The transaction was time pressured due to pending renewals of licences and insurances for Teamlink, and was further complicated by internal financial settlements required at completion. The team drove the deal forward and completed it in a short time frame.”

Teamlink employs 14 staff in Derby and has hundreds of reps around the world. It is one of
60 businesses that make up TUI’s specialist activity sector, which operates in the marine, adventure, ski, student and sports markets.
