Stockholm-based business communications company Intellecta AB has announced it has acquired Hilanders Advertising Agency in a share deal worth SEK20 million (£1.7 million). The transaction also includes further payments dependent on the business’ performance over the following three years.

The vendors purchased shares in Intellecta on the OMX Nordic Exchanges worth a total of SEK2.4 million.

Lindahl acted as legal adviser to the vendor. Magnus Ramberg, partner, provided legal counsel along with Lena Johansson to the vendors holding company, Hilanders Holding AB.

Ramberg said: “The target company is a leading B2B advertising and communications agency. The deal was structured as a share purchase, with Intellecta acquiring 100 per cent of the shares in the target company from Hilanders Holding.”

Intellecta provides agency and information logistics services to companies in Denmark and Sweden. The company has some 330 employees and reported total revenue of SEK471 million in 2007.
