Superglass Holdings, a manufacturer of glass fibre insulation products, has been valued at some £105 million after it joined the Official List of the London Stock Exchange.

The company issued £72.8 million worth of shares on behalf of selling shareholders NBGI Private Equity and Investec Private Bank Growth & Acquisition Finance.

Prior to the IPO, the company was restructured with funding arranged by Clydesdale Bank’s Specialist & Acquisition Finance team in London led by director Paul Marshall.

“The re-financing of Superglass by the Specialist & Acquisition Finance team assisted in its admission to the stock market,” Marshall said. “In 2005 Clydesdale helped NBGI Private Equity in the £37 million buy-out from 3i and therefore we were delighted to continue our support of Superglass and its management team.”
