Sceptre Leisure has acquired the machines and operations of RV Smith for £1.2 million.
Amusement and gaming machine supplier Sceptre Leisure has acquired the machines and operations of RV Smith for £1.2 million.
The acquisition includes 925 amusement machines located in 277 leisure sites, which will be integrated into Sceptre’s existing UK network.
Ken Turner, CEO of Lancashire-based Sceptre Leisure, comments: ‘This acquisition further strengthens and consolidates our [business] in southern England.’
Sceptre supplies amusement machines such as juke boxes and arcade games to pubs and hotels. Trading under the brands Lotteryking, Kelly’s Eye and Party House, its current customers include the pub groups Daniel Thwaites and Cains Brewery.
In the year to April 2010 Sceptre declared a pre-tax profit of £1.9 million on a turnover of £42.8 million.
