Rabo Private Equity has acquired a 60 per cent stake in Koop Bronbemaling through a buy-out transaction. The company has achieved strong growth over the last year and the previous owner sought a solid partner to assist the company with its next phase of growth.

A team, led by Thijs Lommen, partner, from NautaDutilh provided legal counsel to Rabobank for the deal. Norton Rose advised Rabo Private Equity. The Norton Rose team was lead by Marcel van de Vorst, lead partner, corporate finance.

Koop Bronbemaling, founded in 1969, specialises in tailor-made temporary dewatering solutions primarily for the building sector. They develop and install dewatering systems using modern equipment and state-of-the-art solutions. Koop Bronbemaling also rents dewatering systems for building- and infra-structural projects, including pipeline constructions.

Annual turnover of Koop Bronbemaling in 2007 was €19 million (£15.5 million).
