Purex buys PAT Technology’s fume business

Purex International, a Rotherham-based fume extraction expert, has acquired the fume extraction and filtration business of Montreal-based PAT Technology Systems.

  • SSL International Plc, a consumer healthcare business, has exchanged contracts with the owners of the Crest condom brand for the purchase of the brand and certain related assets for CHF7 million (£3.8 million).
  • Ruia group, a Calcutta-based industrial conglomerate with interests in infrastructure and engineering, has acquired tube manufacturing company JJ Polymers in Mysore for undisclosed terms.
  • Velti Plc, a global provider of software platforms, applications and services for advertising agencies, mobile operators and media, has established a new mobile marketing joint venture with HT Media, India’s second largest media group.
  • New Zealand-based data storage technology services firm Connexion Point has bought the European operations of Anacomp Multi Vendor Services, a provider of information management solutions, from US tech giant Anacomp. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.
