Gambling consolidator Praesepe has acquired 14 adult gaming centres across the UK for £2.3 million.

The acquisitions were made from a group of companies that were members of the Noble Organisation, and were financed by a £2.3 million fundraising on AIM.

Nick Harding, CEO of Praesepe, comments: ‘These additional sites provide us with an opportunity to generate further economies of scale and deliver increased revenue and earnings without the cost and time delay of starting up entirely new sites.’

Buckinghamshire-based Praesepe was founded in 2007 and operates high-street gaming arcades and bingo clubs across the UK. In 2009 the company declared a pre-tax loss of £700,000 on a turnover of £11.9 million.
