Hasgrove, a pan-European marketing and communications group, has acquired part of web solutions agency Amaze for £600,000 cash, lifting it out of administration.

Amaze provides marketing solutions across all digital platforms including the delivery of web technology solutions, with operations in Cheshire and London.

The acquisition follows Hasgrove’s purchase of digital marketing agency Pavilion in September and is expected to be earnings enhancing in the next financial year. Hasgrove plans to capitalise on the combined forces although both agencies will initially operate independently.

Hasgrove’s chief executive, Rod Hyde, said: “This is an exceptional opportunity for us to advance quickly the development of our digital marketing capabilities, whilst also moving into the area of web solutions. It catapults us into the top ten in the UK market at least a year ahead of our expectations.”
