Hamilton in PLUS listing

Investment vehicle Hamilton Partners has joined PLUS Markets, raising £1 million. The company is looking for acquisition targets for a reverse takeover.

Hamilton placed 100 million shares at 1p each on PLUS, some 54 per cent of the company’s enlarged issued share capital of 185 million shares.

Based in Stockport, Cheshire, the company aims to acquire businesses in the UK’s financial sector that have already developed a product but need further backing.

Hamilton made a loss after tax of £1,004 for the year-end December 2005.

Chairman Michael Edelson owns a 10.4 per cent stake in the company, comprising 19.25 million shares. Meanwhile, Zalman and Risa Klyne own a 10.8 per cent holding.

John East & Partners was corporate adviser to the company, while its solicitor was Kuit Steinark Levy. Auditor and reporting accountant to Hamilton was Horwath Clark Whitehall.
