Global Brands, the exclusive master franchisee for Domino’s Pizza in Switzerland Luxemburg and Liechtenstein, is looking to raise up to £3.5 million ahead of an AIM flotation in September.
The company, which opened its first store in Geneva back in 2000, now boasts seven stores in Switzerland. The money raised on flotation will be used to open ‘at least’ 23 more outlets over the next three years. By the end of 2007, Global Brands should have stores in most major Swiss cities.
Chairman Yossi Moldawsky and chief executive Dov Lachovitz, both Israeli barristers, say they will use the remaining cash to market existing outlets, chase further master franchises from Domino’s, and bag franchise deals with other ‘identified’ fast food brands. ‘Home delivery is the fastest growing segment in the Swiss consumer fast food sector,’ insists Moldawsky.
Broker Hichens, Harrison & Co is arranging the float, with Global Brands expected to receive a debut price tag of £9 million.
