Fuse 8 buys Delete Digital Marketing

Marketing agency Fuse 8 has acquired London-based Delete Digital Marketing for around £400,000.

Nigel Hunter, CEO of Fuse 8 comments: ‘The board feels that by successfully integrating the business, the enlarged group will benefit from greater expertise and having a London operation.’

The purchase of Delete, whose joint owners Jeremy Middleton and Graeme Burns are both non-executive directors of Fuse 8, is expected to boost the acquirer’s profits within the first 12 months of the deal.

Delete was formed earlier this year out of several smaller agencies. The company’s services include creative planning and research for clients such as such as Decca Records and Red Bull. In the year to September 2010 Delete declared a pre-tax profit of around £30,000 on a turnover of £150,000, and the company currently has six employees.

AIM-listed Fuse 8 is a digital marketing agency providing services such as search engine optimisation and public relations. Founded in 2000, the company also has an office in Russia. Fuse 8 has customers across the UK, Europe and the US including Miele and British Airways.
