A Merseyside-based manufacturer of aircraft components is to re-locate to new premises and upgrade its machinery after it received a six-figure investment. North West Precision Forms (NWPF), which makes parts for aviation organisations such as Airbus, secured some £800,000 from a consortium of investors.
The funding included investments made by NatWest and the DTI with £100,000 from Merseyside Special Investment Fund, a loan and equity provider to businesses on Merseyside.
Founded in the early 1970s by Glyn and Patricia Tudor, NWPF is today managed by their children: Miles, Justin and Michelle.
NWPF has 95 employees making more than 6,000 different parts, assemblies and tools for the aerospace industry. Its clients include US-based business and defence aircraft manufacturer Raytheon.
