Fisher will focus on opportunities in digital media and convergence companies at both early and late stages of development.

Fisher was an early investor in First Capital, and during his time there worked with a number of early-stage companies including Rawflow, Reevoo.com and OmniPerception. Before joining First Capital, he was employed by Citibank and Salomon Smith Barney.

Founded in 1981, Advent Ventures invests in the information technology and life sciences sectors. The firm manages £500 million on behalf of institutional investors in Europe and the US.
