Do you want your pop up banner to be truly effective?

We’ve all seen how pop up banners and pull up banners have been used in a variety of events, occasions, and purposes, from product launches to the promotion of new shops to letting visitors know about a company at trade shows and exhibitions. But what do you really know about designing an effective pop up banner?

The design of the pop up banner makes a vast amount of difference, especially if you want your company and brand to stand out at a crowded location. So – do you want your pop up banner to be truly effective? Here’s how to do it right.

Remember: eye level works best!

All of us read from the top to the bottom, there’s no going around it. So if you want your roller banner to get noticed, then make sure that the most important message is placed at eye level.

The most effective place for your logo would be at the top, and your most important message should be placed right below it, whether it’s a slogan, a sale offer, and so on.

Remember also that the size of your font should be just right – not too big and not too small. Keep details to a minimum; you can always tell customers more about your offers in leaflets and brochures.

A pop of colour

We are all attracted to colours, be it consciously or subconsciously. Colours convey different emotions, so it’s up to you to play on your customers’ emotions and make them react to your message (in a positive way, of course).

Go for bright colours such as orange, yellow, and red so you can catch your audience’s eye, but be careful that they are not overused and not combined with similar colours which make it difficult for your audience to see or read your message. Contrasting colours work well, such as yellow and black, silver and black, and the like.

The best images you can find

The images play a big role in your roll up banners and pop up banners, as you may already know. First and foremost, your images need to be of top quality. Don’t go for free images you can find on the Internet – opt for high-resolution images, even if you have to pay a bit for them.

If you want to promote a certain product, why not have a professional photographer take photos of it? This way, you can be sure that your product is showcased in an impressive manner and gets the right kind of attention.

Your pop up and pull up banners will stand as your representatives in any event, so they need to be done in the proper way. Consider them an investment which you can use and re-use time and again, and which should have a definite impact every time.
