Energy services company Chloride has bought AEES, a French power company, for an undisclosed sum.


Energy services company Chloride has bought AEES, a French power company, for an undisclosed sum.

Energy services company Chloride has bought AEES, a French power company, for an undisclosed sum.

AEES focuses on the energy and infrastructure sector and employs 135 staff. The Lyon-based company generated revenue of €21.4 million (£19.1 million) in the year ending September 2008.

Tim Cobbold, CEO of Chloride, said: ‘AEES has a consistent record of growth in sales, profits and cash generation and is led by a strong management team, who will be staying with the business.’

In the six months to September, London-based Chloride reported sales of £152.7 million and pre-tax profits of £10.4 million.
