European business communications firm Central Telecom has acquired niche professional services organisation CSP Solutions.

Legal counsel for the deal was provided by a team led by Robert Lee from Midlands law firm Wright Hassall.

The acquisition will provide Central with a wide range of professional services capabilities increasing their operational and technical skill sets and further enhancing their opportunity to break into new and exciting markets.

Dave Hopkins, managing director of CSP Solutions commented: “Becoming part of the Central Communications Group will increase our client capabilities, CSP Solutions will have the strength of a larger organisation behind them to help build on the existing success over the years.”

Andrew McDougall, managing director of Central Telecom commented that Central had been successful in selling technology, but professional services and consultancy is of growing importance in their market place. The acquisition of CSP Solutions will enhance their skill sets in this area.

Central’s turnover this year is on target to exceed £40 million.
