The Capita Group has acquired customer contact specialist Ventura, for a cash consideration of £65 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis.

Trading under the moniker Club 24, Ventura is the third party customer services management arm of Next, a clothing and homewears retailer.

The deal provides Capita with opportunities to offer wider customer management. Chief executive Paul Pindar says: ‘The acquisition of Ventura is a good strategic fit with our existing integrated outsourcing services.

According to a statement Ventura staff will transfer over to Capita.

Managing director Ian Cherry comments: ‘This is a great way to take the business forward; this news will strengthen our service to clients and business prospects. We are very excited about the future and look forward to offering our clients even more innovative solutions in customer management outsourcing than ever before.’
