The syndicate comprised the London Technology Fund, The Capital Fund and business angels. ApplianSys will use the proceeds to develop its products, with a focus on appliances. It also intends to increase its presence in a growing, fragmented market that mostly comprises niche specialists.

London-based ApplianSys generated a £587,800 turnover and a profit after tax of £11,000 for the year to December 2005.
