Angels inject £895,000 into Real-Status

Real-Status, a developer of advanced software, has secured £895,000 through business angel network Envestors.

The investment in the business, which was formed through two Cambridge-based companies Intergence Systems, an IT consulting business, and Geomerics, a games graphics company, follows the recent signing of two customers from Dubai and California, according to an Envestors statement.

Real-Status, led by chief executive Royce Murphy, uses graphics and modelling techniques from the computer games industry to create dynamic and real-time models of complete information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructures.

Technology commercialisation company Braveheart acquired Envestors in August last year, which created a larger group that makes investments in businesses of between £100,000 and £5 million.
