Acquisition spree continues for Publicis with Kitcatt Nohr purchase

Publicis Groupe has continued its acquisition push by purchasing Kitcatt Nohr, a London-based digital agency.

Following on from its acquisitions of Interactive Communications and Holler, Publicis will merge Kitcatt Nohr with its own digital agency Digitas, creating Kitcatt Nohr Digitas.

Founded in 2002, Kitcatt Nohr has clients including Body Shop, John Lewis, Lexus and Shell.

Stephan Beringer, president of Digitas International comments: ‘There are many synergies between Digitas and Kitcatt Nohr, which both complement and strengthen the agencies.

‘This move enables us to offer clients a deeper and wider service on a global basis. It’s a win win for all.’

As part of the deal, which was for an undisclosed amount, CEO Marc Nohr and chief creative officer Paul Kitcatt will lead Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, with its headquarters in London.

Nohr adds: ‘By bringing together Kitcatt Nohr with Digitas, we are adding resources to our agency that we could not build in our lifetimes: huge capabilities in technology, media, data and digital design.’
