Mike Conroy, founding director of ATC Solutions, comments that the acquisition, which was for an undisclosed sum, is part of Tricor’s expansion into Europe using London as its launch pad, and adds: ‘We have been working very closely with the partners at Tricor UK; namely Richard Tozer, Steve Page and Jerry Lai, for an extended period.’

Ruairi Laughlin-McCann, co-founder and director of ATC Solutions, comments: ‘We see numerous business opportunities centred on Asia or bridging Europe and Asia.’

London-based ATC provides tax and accounting advice and legal support services to SMEs and private clients operating across Europe and Russia. Founded in 2005, the firm also has offices in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Tricor Aldbridge is the UK subsidiary of the Tricor Group, and a subsidiary of the Bank of East Asia Group. The firm provides corporate administration, compliance and accounting services in the UK, and in 2009 acquired KPMG’s UK company secretarial arm.
