Maxine Barnes, Bishopsgate’s lively boss, says Winnifrith, whom she has known for years, is buying the company through his tips.com internet group. She says she will remain in charge of Bishopsgate, whose clients include AIM-quoted herpes counter Henderson Morley and OFEX candidate Fundy Mining, and will retain her freedom of action.
