The business, together with German sister company Host Europe, is being sold by Oakley Capital lnvestments, which bought it in 2008. It will be renamed Host Europe Group.

Financial details of the transaction were undisclosed.

Peter Dubens, a director at Oakley Capital, says the disposal of Host Europe ‘achieves a good return for investors over a difficult economic period’.

Thomas Vollrath, CEO of Webfusion, describes the deal as ‘a vote of confidence’ in the business, which has expanded its service offering and geographical coverage in recent years, both organically and via acquisitions.
