- London-based Bunzl Plc, the international distribution group, has acquired rivals WK Thomas & Co and Industrial Supplies from King UK, which is in administration. The terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
- Korean film production company Barunson has acquired a majority stake in Korean rival Sio Films for £338,494.
- Quintain Estates & Development Plc has sold St David’s House, a six-storey commercial and retail centre in Cardiff, for £9.3 million, generating a profit of £4 million.
- London-based private equity firm 3i has made a €65 million (£61 million) investment in European medical diagnostics company Labco.
- French broadcasting company Audemat Group has acquired the broadcast equipment activities of Northern Ireland-based APT. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

- Canadian gold miner Avion Resources Corp has agreed to acquire rival Dynamite Resources Ltd in an all-share deal for some C$17.9 million (£8.5 million).
