If I’m honest, I’m useless at computers etc. I do understand that technology can be a great asset, but I’m afraid I’m going to get left behind if I don’t update my knowledge. How can I learn to use the internet more effectively or get the most out of my phone system or mobile?

There are a wide range of resources open to people who want to better understand technology and how it can benefit their business.
Business organisations like the British Chamber of Commerce, BusinessLink, the Federation of Small Businesses and the Institute of Directors offer a variety of information and advice services. There is also a range of courses available from the British Computer Society, which cover the basics through to more advanced skills.
We also have our own Business Club at BT, which provides a range of advice, guides and case studies about technology. You’ll find it at http://businessclub.bt.com.
