US reprographics company bulks up in UK

American Reprographics Company (ARC), one of the largest providers of reprographic services and technology in the US, has acquired UK-based Reprographics Warehouse.

California-based ARC provides the architectural, engineering and construction industries with business-to-business document management technology and services. Reprographics Warehouse is a provider of document management, document reproduction, and related services to similar sectors in the UK. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Kumarakulasingam Suriyakumar, CEO for American Reprographics Company, said: “We are extremely excited about this acquisition. Although it is a relatively small firm from an overall revenue point of view, bringing Reprographics Warehouse into the company is an important step in establishing our presence in the UK.”

In 2007 Reprographics Warehouse posted year-end revenues of £1.5 million.
