UK business schools dominate European top ten

Five of the top ten European MBA programmes in an annual ranking from The Economist magazine are based in the UK.

London Business School, the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, Cranfield School of Management, Henley Business School and Warwick Business School are among the top ten best places in Europe to complete an MBA. However, first place goes to Spain’s IESE Business School, which is also ranked first on a global level.

In the international league, London Business School is the sole UK institution to feature in the top ten, in eighth place (up from ninth last year). Some 91 per cent of its graduates find employment within three months, with an average basic salary of £73,574, according to the study.

The top US institution is the University of California at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, ranked third globally, with Chicago’s Booth School and Harvard Business School in fourth and fifth places respectively.
