Vehicle products and solutions company EurotaxGlass’s has acquired Sweden’s Inter-Global for an undisclosed sum.

Vehicle products and solutions company EurotaxGlass’s has acquired Sweden’s Inter-Global for an undisclosed sum.

Clas Elber, founder of Inter-Global in 1993, will stay on as general manager at the company, which will now be known as Inter-Global ETG.

The business is a leading provider of automotive data in Sweden, and is about to launch online vehicle valuation and residual value forecasting tools.

Elber said: “Our international customer base includes vehicle manufacturers and leasing companies, all of whom will be able to access valuable information and market intelligence.

“We were approached by several potential partners and decided to join EurotaxGlass’s, the undisputed leader in the automotive data sector across Europe.”

Kevin Gaskell, chief executive of Surrey-based EurotaxGlass’s, said: “We are already well represented in the Nordic countries through our Norwegian operation, and we can now further strengthen our presence in this important region.”
