  • Irish pharmaceutical wholesaler United Drug plc has bought Universal Conference and Incentive Travel and Business Edge Solutions & Training for up to £14.2 million, in order to bolster its sales and marketing operations

  • International security services firm G4S plc has acquired RONCO Consulting Corporation, a Washington DC-based humanitarian and commercial mine action and security company with assets of $25 million (£12.5 million)

  • Cobra Holdings, a retail and wholesale insurance broking group, has acquired three insurance brokers and an underwriting agency. The brokers include Giles, JK Lee, GDK Insurance Services and underwriting agencyCounty Insurance Services Schemes
