Property and construction consultant Ridge & Partners LLP has made its third purchase in three years with the acquisition of quantity surveyors Walfords LLP, which has offices in Liverpool, Edinburgh and Milton Keynes. 

Property and construction consultant Ridge & Partners LLP has made its third purchase in three years with the acquisition of quantity surveyors Walfords LLP, which has offices in Liverpool, Edinburgh and Milton Keynes.

Walfords partners Jason Howard and John Huston will now become partners in Ridge. The deal will bring “an enhanced range of services and additional services,” says Ridge.

Phil Jones, Ridge senior partner, said: “Walfords was established in the 1930s and boasts of wealth of experience with an excellent team of people. We are delighted to have acquired them and extend a warm welcome to the team. We look forward to developing our position in the marketplace.”

Brookstreet Des Roches, led by corporate partner David Engwell, acted for Ridge. Engwell said: “Ridge continues to grow its business by acquiring smaller well-run practices. This deal gives it a presence for the first time in the North of England and Scotland.”
