Cash management business Talaris has made a German purchase with the acquisition of Lutzwolf Systems.

The German business provides software development, support and consulting to the banking and retail industries.

Prior to the deal the two companies had an existing partnership, which resulted in the joint development CashInsight Assure, a service which provides teller automation.

Tim Robinson, chief executive of Talaris, says that the buy will allow Talaris to ‘capitalise on opportunities’ in the growing teller automation market.

Hampshire-headquartered Talaris has a portfolio of technology and services including self-service products, connectivity and optimisation software and full support services.

He adds: ‘It is the latest example of our ongoing efforts to bring market-leading services to our customers.’

According to a statement Lutzwolf will continue to operate as an independent software business.

Founder and managing director of the software development business, Lutz Wolf, comments: ‘Both companies have worked closely together for years and this new development will strengthen our partnership and allow us both to provide an enhanced, market leading offering to our customers.’
