A £1 million accelerator programme for North East England has been launched that aims to tap into Newcastle’s burgeoning technology start-ups by investing up to £100,000 in companies.
Surrey-based Illumix Software is setting up a technical centre in north-east England after receiving venture capital funding from NorthStar Equity Investors, a firm based in the region.
