StylistPick set to strut after £5 million Series A

Venture capital firms Accel Partners and Index Ventures have co-led a £5 million Series A investment round for London e-commerce fashion start-up StylistPick.

The money will be used to diversify the website’s product offerings, expand into new markets, and ramp up sales and marketing. As part of the financing, Robin Klein from Index and Sonali De Rycker from Accel will join the company’s board.

StylistPick is an e-commerce site that sends members a monthly email outlining fashion products and style tips personalised for each person based on an initial quiz. Recommendations from fashion personalities like Grace Woodward from Britain’s Next Top Model and The X Factor, and other industry professionals form part of the content sent to recipients.

Founded last year, the business received an initial seed investment from Index Seed and angel investors Stefan Glaenzer, Alex Zubillaga and Robert Dighero. It claims membership has since doubled every month.

StylistPick founder and CEO Felix Leuschner comments, ‘The new round of funding from Accel and Index will enable us to grow the business more quickly through geographic and category expansion, and by further building the StylistPick team.’

Sonali De Rycker, a partner at Accel, adds, ‘We believe that Felix and his team have created a very powerful new way for fast fashion shoppers to engage with the products they love. By bringing stylist and great content into the mix, StylistPick is creating an exciting brand experience for a growing demographic.’
