Stephen Welton has over 20 years of experience in the development capital and private equity industry. He joined the Business Growth Fund in 2010 after ten years with private equity firm CCMP Capital (formerly JP Morgan Partners). He has extensive experience as an investor working with private companies, most recently as chairman of engineering business Edwards, and is an adviser to the government’s business bank.
