Staffline, a provider of outsourced personnel services, has acquired training business Peter Rowley for up to £1.5 million. 

Peter Rowley has offices in Grimsby, Hull and Manchester and specialises in training and consultancy for the manufacturing sector. The company has 36 employees and generated revenue of £2 million and pre-tax profits of £500,000 in the year to July.

Andy Hogarth, chairman and chief executive of Staffline, said that the company continues to look for acquisition opportunities in industrial recruitment businesses.

In the six months ending June, Staffline reported a decrease in revenue of 11 per cent to £49.1 million and pre-tax profits of £1.4 million.
