A software provider to the asset management sector has raised £7.5 million from Augmentum Capital and Revere Capital Advisors.
SRL Global, which was spun out of financial services giant Man Group last year with CEO Neil Puri at the helm, has appointed repreentatives of both investors to its board as part of the deal.
Augmentum is backed solely by London-listed RIT Capital Partners, which is a vehicle for the Rothschild family, while Revere is an investor in hedge funds that also provides the funds with marketing and advisory services.
Says Puri, ‘Following our successful capital raise, we now have… the financial strength and stability that allows us to continue to accelerate our growth and penetration of the pension fund, insurance, endowment and large family office community.’
SRL’s platform gives asset owners and allocators an overall view of their investments, helping them to monitor the effectiveness of managers and manage risk.
