Grimsby-based Old Fashioned Smoke House has acquired an established Whitby seafood smoking and dressing business, safeguarding the jobs of eight staff.

Grimsby-based Old Fashioned Smoke House has acquired an established Whitby seafood smoking and dressing business, safeguarding the jobs of eight staff.

Founded more than 100 years ago, RJ & ER Noble is a family-owned business and supplier to independent fishmongers, restaurants and wholesalers. The acquisition of RJ & ER Noble complements Old Fashioned Smoke House’s operations focused on smoking a variety of fish and providing a seafood dressing service.

Partnership Investment Finance (PIF) provided a £50,000 loan to back the acquisition.
