Emissions monitoring specialist Lysanda has secured a second fundraising round of £1.3 million to further develop its technology.

The £20 million Sustainable Technology Fund, managed by Curzon Park Capital, led the round, with venture capitalist LogiSpring and a number of private investors also participating.

The cash allows Lysanda to launch its technology in the commercial marketplace after completing a number of trials with corporate customers. Alexander Willard, the company’s founder, says, ‘[We] are launching our high-volume product this month and the new funds will enable us to fulfil our near-term strategy.’

Sam Richardson, director of Curzon Park Capital says, ‘Lysanda is finding more and more large fleet operators are asking for help to minimise operating costs and at the same time reduce the environmental impact of their vehicles.’
