Robinwood Activity Centres has spent £2.1 million on Dobroyd Castle in Todmorden.

The property will now offer a range of activities, such as archery, climbing, caving and canoeing.

The deal was structured by Beever and Struthers, which also provided financial advice. The acquirer was advised by law firm Ralli and real estate services specialist Jones Lang LaSalle.

Beever and Struthers’ team was led by partner Philip Walmsley, who said Robinwood is an existing client of the firm. “We were delighted they asked us to support them in this exciting expansion opportunity as they grow and strengthen the business.

“The deal demonstrates that funding can still be found for good propositions based upon sound underlying principles and properly structured,” he added.

Ralli’s team was led by partner and head of corporate Adrian Anderson.
