Regenersis Plc, an Oxford-based customer services company, has acquired rival Total Repair Solutions (TRS) for £6.25 million.

Scotland-based TRS specialises in after sales support in the mobile phone sector. The company currently processes 100,000 handsets per month. In the year ending March 2009, TRS generated a turnover of £22.5 million.

Regenersis CEO Gary Stokes commented: ‘Our clients are encouraging consolidation and using fewer but larger suppliers to fulfil their after-sales needs. At the moment ours is a fragmented marketplace and the increasing consolidation we are seeing means that [the] increased operational scale [is] crucial to accelerating our long-term ambitions.’

In 2008, Regenersis reported group revenue of £49.2 million and operating profits of £2.2 million.
