Milton Keynes-based Praesepe specialises in ‘low stake high volume’ gaming, which includes sports betting, gaming machines and bingo. The deal is the company’s fourth acquisition and brings the total number of operating sites in its estate to 54. The acquired sites generated a turnover of £3.4 million in the year to May.

Nick Harding, CEO of Praesepe, said: ‘This is our third successful acquisition this year. We believe there are great opportunities in the UK and European low stake high volume gaming industry, and we will continue to explore these opportunities to deliver maximum shareholder value.’

In the 28 weeks ending July, Praesepe reported revenue of £5.7 million and pre-tax losses of £500,000.
