PLUS admission for Yellow Cat

Exploration company Yellow Cat Uranium has joined PLUS Markets, issuing 445 million shares. The listing values the company at more than £10 million.

On admission, Yellow Cat’s managing director George Heard owns a 45 per cent stake in the company, some 200 million shares.

Based in Cananda, Yellow Cat was founded in November 2005 to explore uranium deposits in the US, namely Utah and Colorado. It holds mining leases on four properties across the two states, covering some 10,500 acres.

Yellow Cat is looking to run a £300,000 programme of surface investigation and drilling in the summer of 2007.
