Open Text, an Ontario-based specialist in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), has acquired Toronto-based Vizible Corporation, which focuses on digital media interface services.

Scott Bowen, president of Open Text’s Digital Media Group, said, “Our acquisition of Vizible adds powerful tools and digital media expertise to the Open Text ECM Suite, and will play a central role in the development of new, innovative digital and social media solutions.”
 
In the last three months of 2008, Open Text reported an increase in total revenue of 14 per cent to C$207.7 million (£117.3 million). John Shackleton, CEO of Open Text, said: “We are seeing consistent customer demand for compliance-based solutions across all verticals, as well as demand for solutions that streamline customer functions.”
