Online sales company buys Nash Digital

Media Corporation, an AIM-listed online media sales company, has bought a business that sells internet advertising space to clients in Europe and North America. Interactive Consulting, which trades as Nash Digital, was purchased for £224,000 in cash.

Media Corporation, an AIM-listed online media sales company, has bought a business that sells internet advertising space to clients in Europe and North America. Interactive Consulting, which trades as Nash Digital, was purchased for £224,000 in cash.

Nash was sold by its founder, Mark Butt, who has ten years’ experience of building internet sales teams. He was also the co-founder of online media sales business Monetise and has worked with lastminute.com. Under the terms of the deal, Butt remains with the company as a consultant.

Media Corporation specialises in online media advertising and campaigns designed to reach more than 30 million unique customers each month for clients such as AOL, Dell and American Express through its ad-serving and tracking technology.

Its brands include Eyeconomy, gambling.com, creditcardexpert.co.uk, onthebox.com and flightcomparison.co.uk.

Nash’s clients include agencies and brands such as I-level, PHD, MG OMD and Media Contacts. In the year to November 2006, its revenues were £252,000 with pre-tax profits of £131,500.
