Nimans acquires Rocom

Nimans, a Salford-based telecoms equipment distributor, has acquired Wetherby-based rival Rocom from ATC Communications for £12.5 million. AIM-listed ATC bought Rocom for £17.6 million in 2006.

Nimans, a Salford-based telecoms equipment distributor, has acquired Wetherby-based rival Rocom from ATC Communications for £12.5 million. AIM-listed ATC bought Rocom for £17.6 million in 2006.

The combined entity will have a workforce of more than 400 people, and an anticipated combined turnover of some £100 million. Rocom generated a turnover of £45.4 million in 2008.
