MNH buys Platinum Fleet Management

MNH Vehicle Contracts, a vehicle hire and management specialist, has bought one of its Yorkshire rivals.

The company acquired Wakefield-based Platinum Fleet Management for an undisclosed sum.

The deal has created a business that offers more than 10,000 vehicles and will trade as MNH Platinum. The acquired business’ Steve Baraclough has joined the new company’s board.

Platinum was advised on the disposal by Robert Jones, a partner at specialist motor trade accountancy firm Trevor Jones.

“The primary focus of our assistance was to ensure that we realised a fair price for the business and that the motivations of any intended purchaser we aligned to Platinum,” Jones said. “This we were able to do with MNH and we wish the management team the best of success with the integration.”
