Method bought by Boom


Boom Extreme Publishing, a subsidiary of Cardiff-based television production company Boomerang Plus, has acquired multimedia publisher Method for an undisclosed sum.

Boom Extreme Publishing, a subsidiary of Cardiff-based television production company Boomerang Plus, has acquired multimedia publisher Method for an undisclosed sum.

France-based Method offers snowboarding news across print, video, audio and interactive platforms.  

Gareth Rees, executive director of Boomerang Plus, said: ‘Method is one of the most credible brands in the European extreme sports scene and we are excited to bring publishing and TV together to take advantage of new media platforms.’


Boomerang is best known in the extreme sports arena for its joint venture with Channel 4 to produce Freeze, the annual snowboarding championship festival at Battersea Power Station.
