MediSpa runs two clinics in Adlington and London and owns a joint venture with Absolute Image in Newcastle. It plans to open at least two clinics by April 2007 and a further six by 2009.

In return, Pi Capital secured a minority stake in the company. Terry Norris and Elizabeth Wagstaff will represent Pi Capital on MediSpa’s board as chairman and non-executive director respectively.

Based in Adlington, Cheshire, MediSpa was founded in 2004 by Carl Lewis, finance director Tim Molloy, operations director Victoria Clark and medical director Roy Saleh. Mary Burney from Transform Medical Group has recently joined MediSpa as managing director.
