MediLink-Global UK, an electronic healthcare network service provider, has announced its admission to AIM.
The company raised some £2.1 million before expenses at a placing price of 18 pence per share, valuing the venture at £18.6 million. The proceeds will be used to provide working capital to fund the expansion of the healthcare network, initially across China but also into other territories.
A team at Carey Olsen led by partner Eve Kosofsky and senior associate James Fox advised on the admission to London’s junior market. Kosofsky said: “A pre-admission restructuring took place whereby MediLink’s Jersey holding company was placed at the top of MediLink’s structure. We dealt with all the Jersey legal aspects of the company’s admission to AIM.”
She added: “The MediLink healthcare group currently operates in Malaysia and China and intends to commence operations in Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.”
